One of my favorite things about Spring is that it's almost Graduation time! And that means SENIOR PHOTOS! This particular shoot is with Emily A from Lehi, Utah. We went to Thanksgiving Point, which is still kinda grey, being that we shot in mid March. But they have great architecture and some fun spots to work in pretty much year round... if you like to push snow around.
Anyway... I like Emily! She has been assisting me as my Senior Ambassador at Lehi High. She has a very shy but cute smile.
It's fun to try to find the personality of Seniors. They are still kinda looking for that themselves. But as they are faced with the reality of the end of high school, there is a maturity that sneaks out in a few photos. But mostly, we get the confidence of being top dog in the public school system. Go Seniors!

A year in review - December 2012 Part 2
The year 2012 ended with a bang, mostly because of the wonderful wedding of Morgan and Taylor Mecham. I have known and worked with Morgan for a year or two from the ProvoCreative Models and Photographers Meetup Group. She is a beautiful model and a fine soccer player to boot! So I knew we would get great photos with Morgan around:)
As we planned for the engagement session, we had some unseasonably cold weather in the early fall, so we actually had to do two sessions to get all that we wanted to get. But we got gold!
They decided that they liked the straight forward American Gothic look...so, we went for it!
Morgan and Taylor wanted something unique and fun for the bridal and formals session. So, we headed to Helper, Utah, just outside of Price. Helper is an old railroad and mining community complete with old buildings and empty streets. It's part ghost town and museum. It was perfect for our two "jail birds." This is an authentic jail cell...
They got married on Dec 28th. It was a snowy and cold day, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the event at the Bountiful LDS Temple.
The reception was held that evening at the old Ogden Union Station. What a great location!
So, there you have it, the short version of all the fun. To see all the photos, click here!
