My second wedding of the month took me to San Jose, CA for the wedding of Nikki and Robert Verhalen. Robert is in the U.S. Coast Guard and looks real sharp in that uniform. Nikki is a beautiful California girl. The wedding was a backyard affair, great decorations, lots of guests and a rocking band. Because of the distance and schedules we had just the wedding day to work together but it all came together beautifully.
As part of the day, we did a "first look" session, when Robert had the chance to see Nikki in her wedding dress for the first time. This is done before the wedding ceremony and gives the couple some very tender moments, time that they couldn't have in front of the crowd in the actual ceremony.
